Dear Parents, A new year is upon us and with it comes some very exciting things in the church. There will be many opportunities for not just you but also your children to grow spiritually. Sunday school is an integral part of any person's growth as a Christian. If this statement is true of adults then it is certainly true for children. Coming up in March, there will be an emphasis on Sunday school. There will be some exciting things happening as far as curriculum is concerned. With the new curriculum it will provide you and your children an opportunity to discuss what they have learned in class and how they can grow from what they have learned. The Children's Church format has also changed. What this change means is the Children's Church will be every week instead of twice a month. Children's Church can become an excellent way to reach out to any families you know that have small children and it provides their children and yours a way to learn about God. In addition to Sunday school and Children's Church, there will be various activities geared for the elementary age children. Again, I'm very excitied about what this year has in store for your children and ask that you do everything you can to make sure your children are involved and making the most of every opportunity that will help your children grow in God and have fun.
