Borden Church of Christ

Dear Brethren,

Eighteen years ago this past month my family and I began our ministry at Borden.  In those years we have been blessed many times over.  Sherry and I will always appreciate the numerous individuals in and out of the church community that have contributed to our lives.  Borden has been a good place to raise a family.  In regards to the Lord’s work here, I am proud of the positive changes that have come in the spiritual lives of individuals, to the facilities and programs of the church and to working with the church as a whole in influencing our communities for Christ.  To that end I give God the Glory.  However, for the last year I have sensed that the Lord has been leading me to make a change.  Therefore I am resigning from my ministry here in order for me pursue that change.   It is my hope that I will be able to serve this congregation until Sunday, July 30th.  Please keep my family and I in your prayers as we keep this congregation and its leadership in ours.  I know the Lord has good things in store for this congregation.  Finally, I want to thank you and the Lord for the privilege of serving the Borden Church of Christ.
