 I am Resolved! A resolution: a:something that is resolved b:firmness of resolve. c:A statement of intent, a vow. d:determined Each new year people often take an opportunity to make some changes. We call them New Years resolutions. One of the opportunities that I am excited about for Borden Church of Christ this year is the introduction of a new Adult Sunday School class for parents and young couples. This class is based on the FaithWeaver Curriculum. This is the same bible study we use for the children, but at the adult level. That means as a parent you will study the same passage as your children. That will spark meaningful, faith-building conversations on the way home from church, and all week long, as you grow in the Lord with your children. The class begins January 6th at 9:45 AM in the basement. We will combine prayer and fellowship, as we have fun studying God's word together. Take the children to their class then come to yours. To be resolved means to be determined to do something. As we begin this new year may we be resolved to build strong biblical families through Sunday School. Join us on Sunday, January 13th at 6 PM for a great moment in the life of Borden Church of Christ. Brothers Jim McKinley, Ray Weatherford, and Les Wright will be ordained as new elders in service to the Lord and His church. Brothers J.R. Satterfield and Earl C. Mullins Jr. will be presiding. Please plan on attending this special event in the life of our church.
